Welcome to the North Lodge Racing web site. Here at North Lodge we pride ourselves on our attention to detail, however small. We currently have room for 39 racehorses with another 9 stables in the Point to Point yard.
Because of the relatively small number of horses in training compared to the bigger yards we are able to provide individual attention to each and every horse in our care and it is this "small yard treatment" which can so often bring out the best in a horse. A happy horse will always try his best.
Trainer Chris Bealby was an international three day event rider before taking up racing where he rode 71 winners as an amateur jockey. He also had a four year spell as assistant trainer to Nicky Henderson in Lambourn. Chris's wife Antonia is also a successful event rider and is especially skillful at breaking in and schooling on, young horses.
We have a small but highly motivated team of stable staff who work under our head lad Matt Briggs and Assistant Trainer Andrew Corbett.
